Just browsed the official FIA site in the FAQ section and found this.LINK So Gunn, I don't know what rules you read but this looks like the flagged driver should pull over to let the faster driver past.
I always, when I am about to be lapped, pull off the racing line or take the wide line on a corner. I don't see the point in holding up a faster driver.
Ok, instead of creating a new thread I'll just keep this one going.
I have watched 4 "Getting Started" tutorials for Blender and thought I'd try something. I went to the LFS Manual site, 3D Render Tutorial and noticed that the CMX Importer is only for 3Ds Max. So does anyone know how I can import/append LFS cars/mesh/wireframes/textures into Blender? Has anyone ever rendered LFS cars with this program? Will I just have to get 3Ds Max the alternative way?
That's what I have just done. I wasn't to sure about installing it but I asked a couple of questions in the STCC thread and I decided to copy the whole LFS folder and upgrade the copy.
Had a quick race on a W9 server(500Servers) and it looks like LFS is getting more realistic with every patch that comes out. I was waiting to be sent to spectate for false start but never was. No problems so far for me.
Please forgive my 'n00bish' questions, I'm still learning...
So, when I rename my current .exe and download the W9 patch, it creates a new .exe? So the patch is infact a full .exe, not an upgrade for my current .exe?
I wanna try abit of rendering but not for the prices of Maya and 3D Max.
I can't find that Bender program anywhere, and tbh the Bryce renders don't look the best. Maybe it's because they were quick jobs but I would rather try something that will have a nice finish.
If someone could point me in the right direction to get that Bender program, if it's still around, I would much appreciate it.
